The bottom part that fits into the helmet is made of plastic and fits fine.
The top part that redirects air flow is made of some type of paper. you get wrinkles on it that never go away.
Its still better to have this because my shoei helmet visor fogs up pretty bad.

If you are on the fence about getting one of these, buy it now. It's minimal cost for such a big improvement inside your helm. After installing this product I noticed a dramatic difference with the amount of fog forming on the inside of the shield. It cut the fog by at least half if not more. Once more some would think it would be annoying against the face/nose and I can tell you its not at all. The material is really light and flexable and one ride with it in and you'll not even notice it being in the helm. If fogs an annoyance for you (and who doesnt that annoy?) then spend the money and buy this.
