I am mainly writing this review so I can share the info I found out. This kit (CX-1) works on the helmets RF-700, RF-800, RF-900, X-9, X-SP, SYNCROTEC, Z-II, X-SP II and X-TEC. I have a RF-700 and it took me forever to find out what base plate kit to use.

I have ordered these through other stores before. Great product but that comes with getting a factory part. I do however have an issue with the shipping. They charged me 11.00 in shipping which I think its ridicious. This part could have fit in a padded envelope and shipped for the cost of a regular letter. Its not like it was expedited shipping either. So be aware of the shipping cause it was as much as the part.
But the helmet works so we will move forward.

I have found all Shoei products to be of a very high quality. The parts were all included with simple instructions and arrived in a timely manner. The only problem I found with this product is that the small springs have a tendency to come loose if you are a little bit rough when cleaning your helmet. I found this to be an easy enough fix by simply placing a small dot of super glue onto either end of the spring using a toothpick. Other than that I have absolutely no complaints about the product. Overall I am extremely happy with the product and would purchase it again if necessary.
